Byobu is Ubuntu's powerful text-based window manager, shell multiplexer, and integrated DevOps environment.
Install
sudo apt install byobu
Tmuxinator
Tmuxinator can be configured to use byobu as window manager.
Simply add to project configuration file:
# Change the command to call tmux. This can be used by derivatives/wrappers like byobu.
tmux_command: byobu
