Introduction
This is the configuration page for the Ubuntu 9.04 partition on Leviathan.

Simple Settings

- Import settings: Vista Mich → Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Wallpaper.

File System
- Fixed: CIFS shares not properly unmounted during shutdown - see bug here
- Mount /windows/c as read-only (option ro in /etc/fstab)
Network
- Wireless Lan: SSID = ManticoreNet, WPA2 Personal, connect automatically, available to all users
- Wireless Lan: SSID = LochNessNet, WPA2 Personal, connect automatically, available to all users
Preferences
- Keyboard
- → Layout → Layout Options → Alt-Win key behavior → Super is mapped to Win keys

Detailed Application Settings
Amarok
- Bug: No sound in Amarok under Gnome!!!
Gnome DO
- My reference page
- Start Gnome DO at login
- Hide window on first launch (quiet mode)
- Launch key: <alt>+space.
- But 1st change shortcut for Activate the window menu
Nautilus
- User Mich - Default view: List View
SSH
- User Mich - Create key (see SSH#Install)
- Configuration files (chmod 600): ~/.ssh/authorized_keys || ~/.ssh/id_rsa
- Configuration files (chmod 644): ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub
Skype
- Skype 2.10 beta
- Issue: No microphone. Hear loud noise instead. Although the first test with Skype test call seemed to be good, following calls with Emmanuel (as well as subsequent attempts with the Skype test call) had the microphone issue
Wine
