Here is a list of mandatory use cases that the Media Center shall support:

• Play VideoCD / SVCD / DVD / HDD movies
• Play CD / HDD Audio
• Rip DVD movies
• Rid & convert CD Audio
• PC backup
• Mail server
• Web server
• Photo server
• File server

Here a list of optional use cases:

• Game console
• Internet access (browsing / playing)
• Photo slideshow
• TV Tuner
• TV Recorder

Criteria

Here a list of minimum mandatory criteria that the Media Center shall satisfy:

• Gyro remote
• Wireless keyboard
• Compact case
• Absolutely silent
• Minimum power consumption
• Always on
• Easy increase of HDD storage
• External HDD storage

Here a list of optional criteria:

• File server available when Media Center is off
• Secondary touch screen control
• Photo slideshow on secondary touch screen
