Navigation gestures (instead of the three usual buttons).

• Swipe bottom side upward to go to home.
• Swipe bottom side upward and hold to go to recent memu.
• Swipe left side to the right (or right side to the left) for back key.

Home

• Swipe upper side on the left to see notification control center.
• Swipe upper side on the right to see settings control center.
• Swipe left or right to switch between both control center.

Phone

• Touch & hold any contact favorites to switch between calls and messages.

QR Code scanner

• BUG — Camera QR code scanner does NOT work anymore since HyperoS update.
• Use either the scanner application itself (in Tools folder, MI applications).
• Or use the fingerprint shortcut. At lock screen, scan fingerprint and leave the thumb until shortcuts appears. One of these shortcuts are the scanner application (might need to enable fingerprint shortcuts in the settings).

Gmail

• Tap a sender image to select that conversation.

Gallery

Data stored in Android/data/com.miui.gallery.

• Check Keep permissions (even if app is not used)
• Make sure than Contact sync and Calendar sync permission are allowed.
• Make sure app is started at boot (not trivial).

Pending

• While charging, Google Assistance asking whether to enable Ambient Mode (show stuff on screen while charging).
