Troubleshoot

Pairing issue - Keyboard not visible with Unifying software

The keyboard will refuse to pair if the LED shortly blinks red when it is powered on. This means that the keyboard doesn't have enough energy and must be charged first.

Note that this is independent of the status of the LED when pressing the light check button.

Old keyboard may have more difficulty to recover a high charge. This may help:

  • Put the keyboard in direct sunlight for a couple hours.
  • Put the keyboard in direct light from halogen lamp — note that the heat of the lamp may help as well.
  • Change the battery with a rechargeable one (model ML2032, hard to find).
