Detailed System Settings

1st Install

• Disable automatic update during install!
• Boot without network!
• Uninstall 2007 Microsoft Office system (60-day trial)
• Disable the service Recherche Windows / Windows Search (SearchIndexer.exe)
• Disable system restore (→ computer → properties → system protection → unselect all drives) (from [1])
• Uninstall Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites (60-day trial)
• Uninstall BullGuard 8.0
• Install SysInternals Process Explorer and Autoruns
• Download and install Vista Service Pack 2 32-bit.
