[ARMv8] or [ARM64] or [ARM] apk (first is best)

Reference:

First method:

Second method:

  • Download firefox tv release on some network drive accessible to Shield Pro (mounted).
  • In Google Play Store, install the simple File Manager from HiMedia.
  • Visit the (mounted) network share, and select the apk.

Use MiXplorer

Let's try a simple file explorer to easily find the latest downloaded video.

Some candidates (see also [1]):

MiXplorer seems the best candidate for now:

  • Nice interface to browse the NAS, with file sort by date (most recent).
  • Can launch video in Kodi, VLC, or any other player.
  • To play video from NAS, first add the NAS as a SMB share (don't use mounted shares).
  • Using direct link works (no need to copy temporarily).
  • Swipe text on the right.
  • Move icons up and down to sort.
  • Using the History is also very handy.
Add a shortcut to Home / Bookmarks
  • Select a file, and long press
  • Select triple vertical dots, then add to..., then select either Home screen or Bookmarks, or Home...
Questions
  • I selected direct link to view video, and set remember. How can I un-remember it?
