Hints / Tips
- (from guide) Play as Luigi in single player mode
- At the "select a file" screen, keep pressed L and R buttons and choose one of your saved game files with the A button. Now you'll play in the game as Luigi instead of Mario!
- (from guide) Secret Challenge Mode
- While paused on the map, press L R L R X X Y Y to enter the secret Challenge mode. You will now be unable to go back to an area that has scrolled off the screen while playing a level. This cheat only works after you finish the game.
- (from guide) Finish game with time in x11, x22, x33 to get a Red Toad House (Item).
- (from guide) Finish game with time in x44, x55, x66 to get a Green Toad House (Life).
- (from guide) Finish game with time in x11, x22, x33 to get a Mega Toad House (Mega-Mario).
- How to kill the monster on flying cloud, and get on the cloud? Simply grad the shell of a koopa monster, and hit the flying monster by simply jumping on it. Mario will score double: monster is killed, and Mario is automatically on the cloud.
