This page is about backing up DVD, i.e. DVD clone, DVD rip.
Current method
- Use latest free version of DVDFab, either run in linux / wine, or native windows box.
- Limitations
- Free DVDFab refuses to clone some DVD (request to renew version, or buy a license):
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
- Some GUI failure in wine
Other methods

Issue
- Can't renew DVDFab license. It requires connection to dvdfab server.
Not tried yet:
- Install a v8 version in virtualbox, without network.
AnyDVD / CloneDVD
- Only trial version
- Does not run in virtualbox
